went to Laurier for the weekend for a conference. I had a great time =D i left Friday in the afternoon and then got there by 6ish. I was staying in the basement with my group. I had a single room but had to share a washroom with my neighbour. It was cool. We had a bbq the first night there and then went into our groups. I was Team A, and we called ourselves Team Adventure Squad lol and our first activitiy was to create a movie lol We all had to jump over the other team members and one of the guys was so tall that I tripped over him and fell =S Then we watched the movies at like 12ish. Went to bed around 2ish and the bed was hard as a rock dammit. We had to get up at 7:30 too. The day was full of alotta stuff - we went to like meetings on how to get involved and sessions to learn about ourselves and stuff. Pretty cool. Lunch was nasty though -- stir fry with pinapple lol alotta people didn't eat. But Dinner was awesome. It was Semi-Formal and we had great food. Lasgna and garlic bread with chocolate cake =D Then we had a dance -- pretty cool alotta rap music lol Then we chilled in the lounge playing cards till about 3 am lol We had to get up at 8 so it wasn't that bad. Went to breakfast -- pancakes =D and then went to more sessions about conflicts and stress about first year and stuff. Then we went to lunch that was garbage again and people got sick -- some soup. Then we went back for more sessions and then went to a wrapping up session where we talked about first year at uni and stuff =D Alotta fun =) I really enjoyed going and I can't wait to start in september. =D
